Paper Topics

Authors, worldwide, are invited to submit papers for the 6^th European Symposium on Biomedical Engineering in the following areas:

      01 - Biomechanics and Biomaterials
      02 - Biomedical Engineering Education and Training
      03 - Biomedical Instrumentation and Measurements
      04 - Biomedical Signal and Image Processing
      05 - Computer Analysis, Modeling and Simulation
      06 - Clinical Engineering
      07 - Health Care Telematics and Information Systems
      08 - Health Care Technology Assessment
      09 - Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy
      10 - Tissue, Cellular and Molecular Engineering
      11 - Rehabilitation Engineering
 

Instructions for the Authors

Abstracts.

First, authors are invited to submit a short Abstract describing their work. Recommended size is half A4 page, while the maximum size for the abstract is one A4 page. Abstract shall be submitted in a TXT or DOC file containing: Paper title, Surname and Initial of all authors, Institution of the authors, Biomedical Engineering topic (from the list above), Proposed type of presentation (ORAL or POSTER), Abstract text.

Full size papers.
Upon notification of acceptance, authors are invited to submit full size (2-4 pages) papers in PDF format. Only papers according to the instructions will be accepted.

Power point presentations.
Additionally, short oral presentation of maximum 5 minutes (5 slides) is also planned in parallel Oral sessions. The presentation shall be prepared using Power Point, and shall be submitted in advance in order to be able to prepare the sessions without waste of time. Name the presentation file as “Surname-Initial.ppt” and send it prior to deadline.

Posters.
Finally, prepare your own Poster, presenting your work, and bring it with you to the symposium. Recommended poster dimensions are 90 cm width x 120 cm height. Maximum space available will be 100 cm width x 120 cm height.
